Our mission is to expand the reach of gene therapy by enabling delivery of large therapeutic genes beyond conventional AAV limits, bringing transformative treatments to patients with serious genetic diseases and unmet medical needs.

The name AAVion is inspired by “avion” (French/Spanish for airplane), symbolizing the delivery capability of AAV vectors and the company’s mission to engineer precise and efficient gene delivery systems.
